Camila Alves Has the Ultimate Reaction to Ryan Reynolds Nicknaming Matthew McConaughey ''Hunk of Heaven''
Ryan Reynolds gave Matthew McConaughey a hunky new nickname as he revealed his surprise cameo in ''Deadpool & Wolverine'' on Instagram.
Camila Alves has a hunky new nickname for Matthew McConaughey thanks to Ryan Reynolds.
Alves, 41, joked on her Instagram Story on Sunday that she will now be calling her husband of 12 years a "hunk of heaven," after Reynolds, 47, did the same in a post as he confirmed McConaughey''s surprise cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine as Cowboy Deadpool.
"At its best, this business is an actual community and showing up for each other is a great example of that. Huge thanks to this gorgeous hunk of heaven @officialmcconaughey," Reynolds wrote while sharing a shot of McConaughey, 54, wearing a cowboy hat and holding up a pistol while dressed as "Cowboypool."
Deadpool & Wolverine features many Deadpool variants in the final fight scene, including Cowboypool. This Western version of Wade Wilson is played, or at least voiced, by McConaughey, marking his introduction to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While Cowboypool''s face remains covered throughout his appearance there''s no mistaking McConaughey''s voice.
"Not only do he and @camillamcconaughey make the one and only @pantalonestequila," Reynolds continued, referring to the couple''s tequila brand. "But he also delves into the less exciting world of acting from time to time."
Reynolds'' Instagram Story about his cowboy counterpart was posted to Jimmie Rodgers'' "Pistol Packin'' Papa."
McConaughey reshared the Instagram Story, along with Alves, who jokingly wrote, "''Hunk of heaven'' will now be my nickname for him @vancityreynolds. We can thank you when child #4 arrives."
McConaughey and Alves met in 2006 and tied the knot in 2012. They share three kids -- Levi, 16, Vida, 14, and Livingston, 11.
Other A-list cameos in Deadpool & Wolverine include Jennifer Garner reprising her role as Elektra, Chris Evans as Human Torch, Channing Tatum as Gambit, and Wesley Snipes back as Blade. Even Blake Lively makes a secret cameo as Lady Deadpool.
