Reese Witherspoon''s Daughter Ava Phillippe Is Nearly Unrecognizable After Brunette Hair Transformation
Ava Phillippe is no longer the lookalike of her mom, Reese Witherspoon.
Ava Phillippe is Reese Witherspoon''s mini-me no more!
Witherspoon''s 24-year-old daughter debuted a major hair color change on Tuesday. The model, whose father is Ryan Phillippe, took to Instagram to reveal that she ditched her blonde hair for a dark brown shade.
"Time to see how the other half lives 💃🏻 #brunette," Ava captioned her post.
In the photo, Ava embraces the dark side and wears a red minidress featuring floral details and a pair of dark shades. She smiles as if brunettes have more fun. Fellow blonde-turned-brunette Sasha Pieterse seems to think so, having commented, "We have fun too 😎."
Her new look is courtesy of hair stylist Tucker Goodwine, who posted a before and after post on Instagram captioned: "took @avaphillippe BRUNETTE & I am so so here for it!! swipe for before. cut & color by meeee."
"💖Before /💝After," Witherspoon, 48, commented.
Witherspoon also shares son Deacon, 20, with ex-husband Ryan, whom she announced her split from in 2006 after seven years of marriage. The Legally Blonde star additionally shares son Tennessee, 11, with her second husband, Jim Toth, whom she divorced last summer after 12 years of marriage.
While Ava may now look a little less like her famous mother, Witherspoon has actually been brunette in the past too. Witherspoon showed off brown locks in 2004 before quickly going back to blonde. Flash forward to 2019 and she wore a mousy brown wig on the first season of The Morning Show.
Unless Witherspoon plans on matching her daughter, it''s unlikely that the actress will change up her signature blonde hair.
